Buku Pronunciation (How the Speech Organs Works in English) Inevitably, pronunciation is still a challenge for English foreign language learners in Indonesia. The study, this is might due to several things. First and foremost, conventional English spelling is different from the sound. In addition, the different sounds between English and learner’s mother tongue or their first language. Basically, the sound system in Indonesian language is the same as the sound system in English. However, a number of sounds in English are not found in Indonesian languages, as well as how to sound them. English language system also recognizes syllables stressing which affect the meaning of the words, meanwhile it does not exist in Indonesian. Thus, the accuracy of English sounds is more challenging for Indonesian. Buku Ajar Pronunciation (How the Speech Organs Work in English) is comprised of five chapters, namely: Chapter 1 Problems in Pronunciation, Chapter 2 How the Speech Organs Work in English, Chapter 3 The Consonant of English, Chapter 4 The Vowel of English, and Chapter 5 Words in Company. To help the students in pronouncing English better is the purpose of this book.
